I an NBCT library media specialist at Pilot Mountain Middle School. I serve on the advocacy board of my local public library. In 2017 I was awarded the Sara Jaffarian School Library Program Award for Exemplary Humanities Programming. I currently also work as a member of the Educator Advisory Committee for the Global Oneness Project.  I love primary sources, writing fiction, and of course reading all kinds of books.
